1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Personal information you disclose to us

In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us.

Personal Information Provided by You. The personal information we collect may include the following:

  • Email addresses

  • Names

  • Usernames

  • Contact or authentication data

Sensitive Information. We do not process sensitive information.

Social Media Login Data. We may provide you with the option to register with us using your existing social media account details, like your Facebook, Twitter, or other social media account. If you choose to register in this way, we will collect the information described in Section 4 below.

All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

Information automatically collected

In Short: Some information — such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address and/or browser and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our Services.

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Services, and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

Log and Usage Data. Log and usage data is service-related, diagnostic, usage, and performance information our servers automatically collect when you access or use our Services. This log data may include your IP address, device information, browser type and settings, and information about your activity in the Services (such as date/time stamps, pages and files viewed, searches, and other actions you take).

Information collected when you use our Facebook application(s). We by default access your Facebook basic account information, including your name, email, gender, birthday, current city, and profile picture URL, as well as other information that you choose to make public. We may also request access to other permissions related to your account, such as friends, check-ins, and likes, and you may choose to grant or deny us access to each individual permission.

Information collected when you use our MCP connector. When you connect your Quotient account to a third-party AI client via our MCP connector, we collect operational metadata for each connector call, including the tool name, outcome, duration, and account/business identifiers associated with the request. We do not log tool arguments or tool results as a matter of routine. In the event of an unhandled server error, our error-monitoring systems may capture an error message and stack trace; these captures do not include the content of user data passed to or returned from a tool. For full details, see Section 12.

2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

In Short: We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. We may also process your information for other purposes with your consent.

We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Services, including:

  • To identify usage trends. We may process information about how you use our Services to better understand how they are being used so we can improve them.

  • Interest-based advertising. We and our third-party advertising partners may use cookies, pixels, and other technologies to collect information about your interaction with the Service, our communications, and other third-party online services over time, and use that information to serve online ads that we/they think will interest you. This is called interest-based advertising. We may also share information about our users with these companies to facilitate interest-based advertising to you or similar users on other online properties.

  • To operate and secure our MCP connector. When you connect Quotient to a third-party AI client, we process operational metadata to fulfill requested tool operations, maintain service reliability, monitor for security incidents, and prevent abuse. See Section 12 for details.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than the period of time in which users have an account with us.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

6. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

In Short: We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures.

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent's use of the Services. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. If you become aware of any data we may have collected from children under age 18, please contact us at privacy@getquotient.ai.

8. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES?

In Short: You may opt out of marketing communications, update information in your account, or terminate your account, at any time.

Opting out of marketing and promotional communications: You can unsubscribe from our marketing and promotional communications at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the emails that we send, replying 'STOP' or 'UNSUBSCRIBE' to the SMS messages that we send, or by contacting us using the details provided in Section 11 below.

Account Information

If you would at any time like to review or change the information in your account or terminate your account, you can log in to your account settings and update your user account.

Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. However, we may retain some information in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our legal terms and/or comply with applicable legal requirements.

If you have questions or comments about your privacy choices, you may email us at privacy@getquotient.ai.

9. TRACKING TECHNOLOGY CHOICES AND DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Cookies. Most browsers let you remove or reject cookies. To do this, follow the instructions in your browser settings. Many browsers accept cookies by default until you change your settings. Please note that if you set your browser to disable cookies, the Service may not work properly. For more information about cookies, including how to see what cookies have been set on your browser and how to manage and delete them, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.

Blocking images/clear gifs. Most browsers and devices allow you to configure your device to prevent images from loading, so the business hosting the image will not detect that you have viewed a page. To do this, follow the instructions in your particular browser or device settings.

Advertising choices. You may be able to limit use of your information for interest-based advertising through the following settings/options/tools:

  • Browser settings. Changing your internet web browser settings to block third-party cookies.

  • Privacy browsers/plug-ins. Using privacy browsers and/or ad-blocking browser plug-ins that let you block tracking technologies.

  • Platform settings. Some platforms offer opt-out features that let you opt-out of use of your information for interest-based advertising. You may be able to exercise that option for Google, Meta, and LinkedIn at the following webpages:

  • Ad industry tools. Opting out of interest-based ads from companies that participate in the following industry opt-out programs:

  • Mobile settings. Using your mobile device settings to limit use of the advertising ID associated with your mobile device for interest-based advertising purposes.

You will need to apply these advertising-related opt-out settings on each device and browser from which you wish to limit the use of your information for interest-based advertising purposes. We cannot offer any assurances as to whether the companies we work with participate in the opt-out programs described above.

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ('DNT') feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. Because there is no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals, we do not respond to DNT signals.

10. DO WE MAKE UPDATES TO THIS NOTICE?

In Short: Yes, we will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws.

We may update this privacy notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated 'Revised' date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible. If we make material changes to this privacy notice, we may notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes or by directly sending you a notification. We encourage you to review this privacy notice frequently to be informed of how we are protecting your information.

12. MCP CONNECTOR AND API ACCESS

In Short: When you connect Quotient to an MCP client, we access only the business data you explicitly authorize, log only operational metadata needed for reliability and security, and do not receive your full AI conversation history or files.

How connector access works

Quotient offers an MCP (Model Context Protocol) connector that allows third-party AI clients (such as Claude) to interact with your Quotient account. Access is granted via OAuth 2.1 with OpenID Connect (OIDC) — you explicitly authorize which scopes (permissions per resource type, such as blog, social, campaign, audience, and analytics) and which business the connector can act on.

Access tokens are JWTs with an expiry of approximately one hour. Refresh tokens are separate credentials; they do not contain user data and expire within approximately 30 days.

What data the connector accesses

The connector reads and writes only the business data within the resource-type scopes you grant — such as blogs, social posts, campaigns, audience records, and analytics. This is the same data you already manage in the Quotient app. Nothing is read from the MCP client beyond the inputs to individual tool calls.

What we log

For security and reliability purposes, we log the tool name, outcome, duration, and account/business identifiers for each connector operation. We do not log tool arguments or tool results as a matter of routine. In the event of an unhandled server error, our error-monitoring systems may capture an error message and stack trace for debugging purposes; these captures do not include the content of user data passed to or returned from a tool. We do not log OAuth token material.

What we do not access

The connector exposes tools only. We do not receive your full AI conversation history or user files. Where the MCP client includes content from the conversation as an input to a specific tool call, we receive only that content, solely to fulfill the requested operation. We do not expose MCP resources.

How connector data is used and shared

Data accessed via the connector is used solely to fulfill the requested tool operation. Tool results are returned to the authorized MCP client (e.g. Claude) as part of completing the operation — this is inherent to how the connector works and does not constitute a sale or disclosure for business purposes.

Operational metadata (tool name, outcome, duration, and account identifiers) may be used for security monitoring, reliability engineering, abuse prevention, and debugging. Connector data is not used for advertising, model training, or marketing profiling, and is not otherwise shared with third parties except as described in Section 3.
